Oramen

Privacy policy

Effective date: October 17, 2026

Oramen is built so your prayer life stays private. This policy explains what the app does and doesn’t do with your information.

The short version

What stays on your phone

So the app can work, it saves these things only on your device: your language, text size and reminder settings; your answers to the welcome questions; the prayers you mark as prayed or answered (the app’s own prayer titles, or a journal number and an optional general category you choose); your saved verses; your badges and lesson progress; your fasting progress (type, length, focus and days completed, never weight or food); and, if you pray to receive Jesus in the app, that date, so the app can celebrate your spiritual birthday.

What we don’t collect

We don’t collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, location, photos or health information. We don’t use analytics or advertising tools that track you.

Prayer reminders

Reminders are scheduled on your phone and don’t pass through our servers. You can turn them off anytime in Settings or in your phone’s notification settings.

Sharing

Verse, prayer, badge and spiritual birthday images are created on your phone. Nothing is shared unless you choose to share it, and then only with the app or person you pick.

Backups

If you use your phone’s own backup, such as iCloud or Google, your Oramen data may be included in that backup under your account. We can’t see it.

Deleting your data

You can erase everything at any time in Settings under “Delete all my data,” or by deleting the app.

Children

Oramen is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update it in the app and change the date at the top.
